The 2015 US Open is scheduled to take place from Monday, Aug. 31, through Sunday, Sept. 13.
This year more than 700 players will compete in mixed doubles, and men’s and women’s singles and doubles. Some of the crowd favorites include: Serena Williams, Andy Murry, Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka.
Getting to The U.S Open from The Mansfield:
The U.S. Open is held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (Flushing Meadow–Corona Park, Flushing). Getting there by rail from The Mansfield is easy: You can take the 7 Train (Queens-bound to Mets–Willets Point) from Grand Central Terminal which is a short walk from The Mansfield.
